Obituary

Grant Robert Marcuccio, age 32, of Whitefish, Montana passed away on August 18, 2024 in Glacier National Park as the result of a climbing accident. He was born on June 2, 1992 in Coral Springs, FL to Robert Marcuccio and Michele Magennis.

He was an optimist, a friend to all, and was known for infectious smile and warm heart. He also climbed in the Himalayas. He was dedicated to organic farming and was on the Board of Montana Organic Association. Other hobbies included golfing, snowboarding, and skiing. Grant loved his family with all his heart and was confirmed in the Catholic Church.

In addition to his parents, Grant is survived by sister, Sarah Marcuccio (Chris DiLeo); paternal grandmother, Kathleen Marcacci; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents: James and Claudette Magennis; and uncle, Tom Magennis.

Services will be held at Christ The King Parish formerly Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Hwy., Wethersfield, CT 06109 on Saturday, September 21st at 10 a.m. with a celebration of life to follow.
